I hear a lot about speedlight but what it sounds like to me is that im running SL on the cloud (someone elses computer) similar to the puffin browser which rases some security concerns. I would just like to know if im wrong, and if i am correct how do they obfuscate my login credentials so a bad actor cant just log into my account. Would be nice to log in again on my phone because my home is being renovated irl and ive fractured my shoulder so i neither have a PC up atm or the mobility to use a mouse and keyboard effectively for at least 6 weeks

That's right - their server handles the connection to Second Life. Your device(s) don't need to be online for Speedlight to keep your avatar online.

I have vague ideas beyond the "storing passwords" article but can't speak for @Glaznah Gassner
