Can I put copyable items into a no copy/ transferable box?

I have a friend that will make a dress for me. She will not give me full perms (understandable), and usually makes them CopyMod NoTrans. Can this be put into a box, and the box be set as NoCopy/NoMod/ Trans? I want to have several of them in my inventory to give as gifts and prizes. Could I give these boxes, then the person who opens the box would have a CopyMod NoTrans dress, just as if she had bought it herself, and the dress maker is also protected?

No.  What you describe will not work.  If the dress is given to you as Copy/Mod/No Trans and you drop it into a box, the box will become No Trans as well.

Yes, you can. But it won't get you what you want, if I understand you correctly.

If the dress is copy/mod/no transfer, that will be added to the rights of the box (no copy/transfer), making it no copy/Mod/No trans.

Hello Anthony. No, you can't do that. (Your friend -the creator- can change the permissions and make the dress Transferable).

Nop, in that case she should give it to you as copy/trans.

A few creators use Selling-Alts to protect, but the original creator is always seen in the item.

 

If she dosnt trust you to set perms right for the Person you give it to, she might want to sent it  self to the Person you give out the prizes to. Maybe using a "voucher" as prize, redeemasble with her might work?

 

Sadly, Perms can only be set for the next owner, not for the owner after it.
