This Caligula? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/57003

Or this Caligula? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/158333

In any case, the ads should specify which bodies or sizes their clothing is made for.  Just like RL where you have to check the clothing labels to find your size, you have to check the demos and ads to find your choice of mesh body rig.

They don’t demo and when I used signature they don’t fit right, the body shows through. The reason I was asking is because they have no demos.

That's why we always emphasize on picking up demos before buying. It's essential to know if the garment will fit correctly and whether or not if it'll clip through your shirt, pants, shoes, or anything else you might want to wear in your inventory.

Some of us have been burned a few times buying things without demos. I took a gamble a few times too many on outfits that provided no demos... and they turned out to be junk. (I should've AR'd those stores for gambling violations, but I digress.)

If you see a store offering no demos on their clothing, move on and find one that does. You'll be happier knowing the clothes you plan to buy will fit after trying the demos on.  Remember this mantra: No demo, no buy!

Have you tried using the alpha section of the body HUD to hide those areas that.poke through?   I've purchased several item that are supposed.to be rigged for my body but sometimes something might poke through when I'm dancing or standing a certain way.  I can usually fix that with either an alpha layer or the alpha HUD

This alpha pack is full.perm.  Wear the clothing, find an alpha that hides what you need hidden then copy it and paste it into the folder with the clothing.  It's free...

I love thé look of Caligula clothing but any I bought never fit my body right, I was using signature. Is there a body that goes well with their clothes?

Given that they don't offer demos, and they seem to be poorly rigged, perhaps it would be a good time to start a thread seeking recommendations for high-quality clothing for men that includes rigs for Signature. There are a lot of really amazing stores out there, maybe you just have not discovered them yet.

Both of them are the same Caligula...

...and he originally made mesh mostly for the Aesthetic body (Enzo / Smith). Now branched out to a few others, mentioned in the adverts. Also in 'standard' sizing (Small/Medium etc) which will always need hiding of body parts to get a fit.

Personally I've no experience of them, despite Aesthetic being my main body, because No Demo frequently means Poorly Made and I Don't Want You To Know Before I have Your Money. Even if it doesn't mean that, I think it shows poor customer service. I think there are better options around (even for the very old Aesthetic body) although Caligula is certainly prolific. Not many creators make for Aesthetic any more (not many did to begin with) so they probably sell a lot just because of the limited options.

Here are some more free BOM alphas (Slink's originals that I remade when Slink closed): https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Slink-Free-Extra-Alphas-works-with-any-avatar/24509691

Note that the Aesthetic body is not BOM compatiable at all and never will be.

Note also that you can often wear clothes without even wearing any body at all, just a head, as long as the neckline, wrists and ankles of the clothing cover the required parts. I do that all the time with Aesthetic and Gianni clothing when wearing formal suits, for instance. Saves render cost too. Trouble is, without a demo, you'll never know if that will work until you buy it. You probably will still need to have hands unless you are happy with system hands though, or wear gloves (again, I sometimes do, then I wear nothing at all from the body).

Edit to add: Depending on what you are looking for, try Lapointe Bastchild, Utopia, Tori Torricelli, Val'more Corps, Toksik, AEC (a.k.a. Adam Edelstein, although I have some reservations about AEC despite that it can look terrific - demo very well before purchase!)... and lots more. you can find all of those on the MP (search the store name) and inworld.
