llSetSoundRadius Wiki states (both attached and triggered) but triggered does not work.

That's not something that you post on the wiki.  The wiki is for describing the way that a function behaves if it is running as designed. You've discovered a flaw, so report it in the JIRA.

Aha!  A minor bit of sleuthing (actually, simply reading the notes on the wiki page) led me to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-26070, which was filed back in 2008.  It gathered quite a few comments and was finally closed and marked "Resolved: Won't Finish" in 2016.  So, the Lab has decided that either it cannot be fixed or it would be too much trouble to fix. The function is essentially deprecated by default.

I tested it yesterday, with the same results. That raises a very interesting question.  I hadn't noticed that it was added recently, but I wonder why they would do that if the basic function was dead?

someone added a bunch of link-specific versions of sound functions recently, without a lot of fanfare (I don't follow server update stuff, so maybe there was some and I just didn't hear.).

Could have been a batch job and they, didn't actually test it?

Could be. I wouldn't say that's likely, given QA, but anything's possible.

As a scripter myself, I saw this thread and had to wonder, so I asked around. It looks like llSetSoundRadius and the link version aren't on anyone's radar right now, but I will go ahead to do something in the JIRA to see if we can get someone to look.  As always, there's no telling when it will be at the top of the To Do list.
