'Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer.'?

My account is still active on the grid but I have an issue with logging on SL with one particular computer and it says 'Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer.' now from what I understand this is an issue if someone has been banned before on the computer, and probably was because I bought this computer used at a yard sale. Is there anything we can do to settle this?

Its not actually the physical computer that is banned, it is the IP address of the computer and sometimes it happens by accident. Give LL a call and a few minutes should fix it.

There are many reasons why you might get that message. Yes, you may have been suspended or banned. If so, you should have received an e-mail explaining why. Your account may also have been put on hold by mistake, or for an administrative reason -- maybe someone else has been using your account for phishing or other unauthorized purposes. In any case, the only people who can take your account off hold again are at Linden Lab.
