3 Times now I have created a group only to have it disappear a week or so later.  Does anyone know if there is a reason for this???

a group needs a minimum of 2 members, else it gets deleted

easiest is to create (if you haven't already) an alternate account for yourself and invite your alternate account to group as the other member

ps. Is safest to invite your alternate as an Owner of the group, this way if you ever make a mistake on either account and leave the group then your other account can invite you back in as an Owner

pps. If you have already done this and the group is still being deleted then best to raise a Support Ticket

people have mentioned on here that they have been having some recent issues with group invites not working as they should. A sometimes fix is to make sure that the account being invited is on the same region as the inviter

.....  within 48 hours.  That's how you get rid of a group. Kick everyone else out so you are the surviving member, and then wait 48 for the system to sweep the group out of existence.

As Molly says, it's usually wise to make your own Alt the co-owner of the group.  Not only does that mean you have a trusted ally with a key to the back door, but it means you don't have to trust anyone else to be an owner. That's really important.  An owner can kick anyone out except another owner, so there's always a risk that a co-owner might someday become your ex-partner, ex-BFF, ... a co-owner from hell that you can't get rid of.  Unless she's your own alt.  😇
