how can i get an over-head veiw of my whole sim please?

I have seen an over head veiw of a whole sim - i contacted the owners and they told me i had to contact Linden to get an over head veiw of my whole sim - can any one else give me any pointers or know where i should contact please?

You mean like a map view?  Just get it from the world map or from the web-base map tool.  Pull up your sim on the web-based map and use a snip tool to capture the image.   You can also take an inworld snapshot that should cover your whole sim.  You just need to remove any camera constraints you might have and make sure your Draw Distance is far enough.

If you're going to take your own photo, as Cinn suggested, be sure to go to your Windlight Sky settings first and set your cloud cover to zero so you can see the whole sim without clouds or haze.
