Beta Grid Loging error: "Could not connect to the server. Could not load the certificate. Please contact your Grid Administrator."

I'm using the beta grid for years now. Even yesterday I could login to it. But since yesterday night, I'm getting this error message and can't logging into the beta grid any more.

I did everything I know to get rid of this issue, such as

1. Entered different location (sim) names in beta grid.

2. Checked the Grid Status website, and it isn't mentioned any beta grid issues at the time.

3. Cleaned the firestorm cache.

4. Logged into the main SecondLife grid and it works (right now I'm in there too), which means my login details, firestorm settings and account status having no issues.

5. Re logged the computer and then tried again.

6. Waited over 12 hours and still getting the same error message when trying to login to the beta grid.

7. Then I sent a ticket too.

 

Just posting here to see if any others had the same issue and if they could able to login to beta grid.

Are you using Firestorm?

LL didn't push the fix on Aditi yet.

For now, you should be able to login to Aditi on the LL viewer.

FWIW, this also appears to prevent logins with Catznip, but I can confirm that the Linden viewer can login to Aditi (albeit after a long delay, as usual).

As far as I can make out, as stated above, a year ago the problem was simply caused by a certificate becoming invalid and there was a period when the new certificate details had not been pushed out to the TPVs. Once that was done, and the other viewers were updated, all was well again.

This time, it is anyone's guess as to what your problem might be being caused by. A good start would be for you to provide more details - which viewer you are using, any error messages (copy/paste the exact messages into a post here) etc...

... and it never hurts to include your system details from (the viewer's top bar menus) Help -> About [viewername].

I haven't heard of any particular problem that has arisen with the beta grid. As some more people see this post, we might get some more help. Some people have had problems logging into the main grid recently - maybe related?
