Hopeless at Landscaping Terrain ETC

im currently trying to terrain landscape 1/4 sim etc but im hopeless making it all nice dunno where to start lol need some advice please all i know is how to put a house down thats it really

Practice, practice, practice.  And remember that you can always flatten or revert the land and start all over again if you have to.  Just be mindful of your neighbors.

Don't make your brush too small or too strong. Watch the way construction crews in RL shape the land they are working on.  Make large-scale smooth changes to the land first, raising or lowering broad areas as necessary to get the general shape right.  Then go back and use small brushes to carve the details.  It may help to put prim "stakes" around the area as guides, so that you know how high the land is meant to be when you're finished.

It's all about massive scale sculpting.  Be gentle, take your time, and remember that any mistake can be undone.
