why cant i change my email in the appropriate web page?

i have gone to update my email so i can receive my ims and for some reason it wont change saying "password is incorrect". i know the info is right and yes i made sure caps was off so what gives?

All I can think of is clearing your browser cache and trying again. If you have another browser installed, try it.

Some more thoughts if previous suggestion fails.

If you have Premium membership, use Live Chat or submit a ticket.  If Basic, try the category Account - Second Life Web login issues. It's a password issue on the website Dashboard so may be accepted as valid.

I'd also chance calling Billing Support too on the basis that a correct email address is necessary to receive emails on billing issues and marketplace purchase confirmations.

hmmm...two identical issues same time.....maybe there is website glitch at the moment. Try again in a while.

Make sure you are using your Second Life password, not your email password.

If you have a REALLY long password, try entering just the first 16 characters.
