how to change picture to texture?

 from my pc to second life texture.

   Pictures and textures are the same thing; virtual images. To upload images into SL, press Ctrl + U, browse your computer to find the ones to upload, select them, and pay the upload fee. To put it as your profile picture, simply open your profile, and either drag-and-drop the image from your inventory, or click the empty picture field and select it in the texture selector. Make sure to click 'OK' rather than 'Cancel' when you close your profile to save the changes.

You can also add SL and RL pictures to your profile via your web browser without paying the upload fee via the viewer client.
