Will we ever have Virtual Reality Helmets in Second Life??

Wouldn't it be cool to be able to access Second Life Mouselook view using Virtual Reality Helmets? Imagine being on the SL beaches seeing and hearing the waves and sounds of birds and the ocean and stuff, and talking to someone and feeling like they're right next to you?! Will we ever see such a thing in sometime in next few years? That would be AWESOME we did!!!

If you are interested in development of immersive virtual world you can keep an eye also on Kinect development.

Personally I think that in 10 years time we will not be wondering about move, vision and helmets but about taste in wirtual world.

No unfortunately we won't, simply because of the fact that LL thinks RL social web crap integration a la Fartbook and stuff is the way to go to drain millions and millions of residents off Zuckerboys datamining company!
