Eirynne Sieyes
I am a pre-beginner interested in getting a sense of what mesh is. An old SL wiki page walks the user through uploading and editing a multi-face mesh file and directs the user to download seymour.dae at a page that no longer offers the file. Googling seymour.dae for a download was fruitless, so I imagine that file is hopelessly outdated. But it would demonstrate what multi-face mesh is. Does anyone know where to get a copy of this file, or a similar file that could be used instead? (SL wiki page is http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Mesh/Uploading_a_multi-face_mesh)
Chic Aeon
Not sure if this will help except in theory as these tutorials were made in 2.79 and you are likely using 2.8 but you could watch them for general information -- which a lot of folks still seem to be doing. The INTERFACE will be different however. Even the first crate tutorial talks about milti-faced (different materials) mesh. And the picture frame continues with that.
