Limited Internet acces account

Hello. My Internet provider said I am using between 1 and 2 GB/day, and I only use my Internet to play SL. And since my Internet account is limited, he wants me to change it to unlimited. Is SL uses so much download and upload capacity? Thank you.

Yes, SL is very heavy duty. I am on unlimited internet usage. You will probably find, as I do, that there will be certain times of the day, even on unlimited internet, that your gameplay will be slower than at other times, depending on how much traffic generally there is.

Hello Rana. A short answer is that depends of what use you do. Sure with a limited internet account is not recommended not only for Second Life but for any virtual world and online 3D applications.

If you download lots of viewers and updates for SL then it would certainly eat into your limit, its a big program.
