is second life the website here connected at all to the in world viewer?

hi so as far as I can tell you cant message someone here or any of the functions and talk to someone who is in world? it doesn't seem like I can manage friends or groups or other things on the website...so am I missing something or is that just how it is. thanks for your help in advanced

You can remove friends at https://my.secondlife.com/settings/friends

That's about it.

The forum is tied to the LL database on sign up, LL did not make the forum, it's done by another company and the features you mentioned about im'ing people and such from it are not anything I've ever seen with any forum software, it would take custom work for that to happen.

You can access the mailbox of these messages inside the world and outside
