Any updates on the username change feature?

I was pleased to hear that they were going to add a way to change your username, as while I know about (and use) the display name feature, this account hasn't been an alt for quite some time, and I'd like to change my actual name to something else.

Last I heard was in November 2019, the Lindens announced it would be ready by February 2020. Well, it's February 2020 now—has there been any other word?

The infamous “soon”.  Which is a totally subjective term. In relative time, the black plague was not too long ago in comparison to the eradication of the dinosaurs.

Yeah, the delivery timing remains anyone's guess, but on the plus side Name Change isn't in limbo like some projects: there were very recent developments on the critical path to delivering the feature. We're just not privy to how long that path may be, still.
