help resizing a home

I have a 1028 hine abd the house I have for it hangs over on both sides.  How do I go about resizering the house and its contents.

The answer is that you probably don't, especially if you do not have mod perms on everything, which is probably the case. Even then, something as large and complex as a house is not likely to be easy to resize, and you certainly can't resize things that are not parts of the linkset, so its "contents" can't be resized the same way you would resize the building itself.  On the odd chance that you really can resize things, I suspect that it will be a nightmare.  I suggest any one of three possible solutions:

1.  Unlink parts of the house that stick out beyond the edges of your parcel, if that's possible, and delete them.  This is very unlikely, but who knows?

2. Buy another house with a footprint that will fit in your parcel.

3. Buy a larger parcel that your house will fit in.
