Hair on mesh heads

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me with the hair when I put on a hair style on  it doesn’t give me the proper fade around  the head like it should ?

next to just hair, you also need a hairbase .. that might be missing.
Most mesh heads have a (basic and tintable) hairbase provided in the huds.
But of course as nearly everythign you can buy it from other creators and apply it with a brand compatible applier. ( mostly omega)

Are you using a classic avatar?  (at least the head)?  If so, check to see if the hair you bought comes with a tattoo that colors your scalp the same shade as the hair.  Use the Add command to put it on.  A few hairstyles will also come with a special alpha mask to hide the part of the scalp under the hair.  If yours has this, try adding it as well.  I have found, though, that hair alpha masks are often not needed.

Are you using a mesh head?  See Ethan's comment about checking your head's HUD controls, and also checking if there are any appliers included with the hair style.
