About llSetText

Is this posible to make a " hover "text into a child prim without  script inside the child prim? i just dont want the text being "hover" the prim.

Use llSetLinkPrimitiveParams with its PRIM_TEXT parameter, and put your script in the root prim.

     llSetPrimitiveParams([PRIM_TEXT, "testing", <1, 0, 0>, 1.0]); Something like this? But it still being "hover".

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you want.  I thought you were asking how to make hover text over a child prim, using a script in the root prim of the linkset. No?

Rolig means the last function listed on this wiki page.

llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast( integer link, list rules );

// For example, show "hovertext" above link number 2
llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast( 2, [PRIM_TEXT, "hovertext", <0,1,0>, 1] );
