How can I see my avatar and change or add somethig else???

Hi Meliangirl,

Welcome to Second Life!   You will need to download and install a viewer in order to login to SL and see your avatar.  Click on Download Second Life at the bottom of the page.  This Getting Started guide should help.

What do you mean by 'avatar'?

 

- avatar here at Forum?

- avatar in Second Life - you logged in and you don't see Inventory and you don't know how to use camera?

- avatar in Second Life in general - you haven't downloaded Second Life viewer yet?

Once you have downloaded the viewer, you will notice on the Login screen there are 2 options Basic Mode and Advanced Mode, in basic mode you can learn how to control your avatar and communicate. You will need to move on to Advanced Mode to do anything more complex such as changing your appearance.
