Give it a minute and first thing to do is as the message says, check your connection to the internet.  

then try logging back in

 

Is this a problem that has happened once, all the time, every few minutes?  we need a bit more information to help

Typically this is a network issue.  Whether or not you **think** you have a great network connection, it might not be great per SL standards.  SL uses your connection quite differently than other games or streaming stuff.

Also, you could help us a bit by giving more info - Click Help in the viewer menu and then click About.  Copy all the info from the popup window and paste it here.

It can happen for no obvious reason, a spike in the net somewhere between you and the SL server or any kind of issue. It's not uncommon, even with a solid connection at your own end. 

If your net is stable and your PC is not experiencing other issues, there's a good chance it's just something that happened. If not, fix those issues first.

If you've done that and it still happens continuously, submit a ticket to LL and see what they have to say.
