don't focus on groups only, many members have the "receive notices/chat" off.. you reach nobody of them, most of those spam groups only have the spammers in it.. and those aren't the ones your attention should go to.

Present yourself inworld on events, even there are nearly no days there are no new ones opening, it's often more visited and higher traffic than "just"  a one brand shop.
