Why do some glow and can I fix it?

In this picture taken in my gallery, some of the paintings seem to glow, these are pictures that are on frames made using a prim to mesh converter, the others, are simply the texture placed on a simple prim. My question is why do these glow, and can it be corrected so they all look the same, the glow isn't always noticeable depending on windlight and other factors, but it is annoying when the perfect windlight setting s have some pictures glowing like neon signs and the others barely even visable.

You simply have some set to FULLBRIGHT.  Select one with your editor, go to the Textures page, and untick the FULLBRIGHT box.  If necessary, select the FACE button before you select the painting.

Thanks,that worked, not sure why I hadn't tried clicking that box, though I did notice some had to be clicked twice so maybe i tried clicking once and it didn't do anything and looked for something else.
