Redflag?Fellow user sending Lindens but not showing up( picture attached)

Hello, I have a concern and was wondering has this happen to anyone. One of my friends online is fairly new, few months. However from time to time when I log in it says this person has paid me $50L in a chat box(see picture attached) and it always comes across multiply times. But nothing is ever transferred. This has happened several times now. I asked them and they say that they didn't send anything and only has $50L in their account. It ONLY happens with this user. Could this be some kind of hack, just wondering. Any thoughts or answers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I doubt that it's a "hack," but she may have picked up some scripted device that is malfunctioning. Ask her to click World >>> About Land >>> General and then click the "Script Info" button at the bottom of the page to open the script summary window.  If she selects the MY AVATAR tab, she'll get a list of all the scripts she is wearing and where they are attached.  If she's wearing something that doesn't look familiar, ask her to detach it and see if that helps.

Top right of the picture there's a small envelope with 99+, those are uncleared notices. Right click it and choose close all. That should solve it

Seems to be happening more. I may just block them, I just think its really odd. When I was off line this is all the times it came up. all different times too. Just from yesterday and the day before. I only saw this when they messaged me today, call these appeared with their message

Well, it looks like you have an annoying follower.  He's not sending you L$ but is sending you a lot of ridiculous messages.  It's time to mute him and move on.  Select the name in any one of those messages and mute it.
