Keybinding

Is there a way to bind these buttons to my mouse? I have a 12 button gaming mouse, and it would be awesome if I could use those buttons in SL to do simple tasks like open my inventory or edit sky settings.

Some of them, yes, probably.  Look in the menus in your top menu bar.  Many of the commands have key combo shortcuts.  Lots of these ALSO have the shortcut buttons you're asking about.  You should be able to map these to your mouse buttons.

I can see in the toolbars the various default keybind shortcuts. What I can't seem to locate is where to make custom keybinds. I am in Firestorm.

You'd have to do that in your mouse controls.  There are no commands for keybinds in the viewer.
