It depends on the shoes. It looks like you have classic feet, so you need shoes designed for classic feet, which would usually include a foot shaper which you would wear with them. However, those shoes look like they were designed for mesh feet, probably Slink feet, so they will not work. It is very hard to find nice strappy heels for classic feet, so if you want to wear shoes like this you really need mesh feet or a mesh body.

Looks like you acquired shoes for mesh feet almost certainly Slink or Slink compatible feet if the folder in your inventory for the shoes doesn't include an alpha layer and a shoe shape the shoes will be virtually useless until you purchase the correct feet. If the shoes require Slink and you use an old skin you might like the more affordable compatible option from Similar. if you use a very detailed skin with lots of leg sheen it might be better to get some official Slink feet and skin appliers until you are in the market to get a mesh body

Looking at your feet and the shoes, the shortest answer is : you can not adjust these feet and shoes together.

The long answer is that these shoes are designed for Slink feet, an avatar add-on meant to hide and replace the default feet.

This is where the answer starts to get longer, I'll try to explain it as simple as I can.

1. These shoes fit for Slink high feet so you'll need these feet to fit with these shoes.

2. Check the skin matching between your feet and your body. There are two ways to do it :

  • tint manually the feet until they match your body skin
  • buy a skin with applier (Slink or Omega applier. Be careful that you'll need the Omega kit for the Omega applier).

Then your shoes will fit just like this :

Or another brand that offers mesh feet. At least I can't see if those shoes are for slink. Could also be for any of the mesh bodies, that come with mesh feet, like Maitreya for example.

In addition to what others are telling you about the shoes you've already purchased, here is some advice to help with future purchases:

Below are the logos for four of the main female mesh bodies and mesh feet that shoes (especially high-heeled shoes) are created for in Second Life:

If you spot any of those logos on the ad boards for shoes (or anything else) you would like to buy, they won't work for you unless you've also purchased the corresponding mesh body or body parts. Likewise, you can sometimes look inside the ad boards to see what the contents are listed as. To do this, right-click on the ad and select 'edit'. Find the 'content' tab and see if it contains multiple items. If it does, look for words like: Maitreya, Lara, Slink, TMP, Belleza, and the like. If you see that next to the name of anything, then - as above - you'll need the corresponding mesh body or body part before the items will work for you.

Exactly the same goes for mesh clothing: if it shows those logos or has those names beside it, it won't fit properly unless you have the corresponding mesh body. However, while wearing a system avatar (sometimes known as a 'classic avatar' - in other words, the one that you currently have) you can wear anything that's listed as 'standard sizing'. Look for sizes such as S, M, L, etc in the package, or the following logo on the ad board:

You'll also be able to use 'fitted mesh'/'fitmesh' (as long as it doesn't also state a body name beside it).

Lastly, you can also safely purchase anything that has the below logo on it, as that's made for system/classic avatars:

You'll often find multiple fits, both for different mesh bodies and optional standard sizes/fitmesh sizes inside each purchase, so keep your wits about you and learn to recognise those logos :)
