yes

unless it's a text based viewer you can access your avatar with any viewer you wish to use.

if you do use viewer 1 or any viewer with first and last name fields use Resident as the last name

If you start using more than one viewer, it's wise to set up a local cache in a different file for each viewer.  If you have been using V2, in particular, you'll find that your outfits can be all mixed up when you go to a different viewer, because of the different way that the V2 codebase handles inventory.  It's annoying, but easy to minimize if you use different cache locations.
