AthenaStarfire
Is it possible and how would I ,,, Write a script that would run on an object that would detect $L transaction on an avatar, even when offline. and email the transaction details to me. Berksey
I'm pretty sure there are vendor scripts that can do that easily, but iunno how it would be done using a script if it was, say, a direct avatar-to-avatar transaction... Scripts generally work via interactions with obects and/or other scripts, but I can't see how one would make a script that could email you if someone sent you $L. You might be able to enable it in your privacy settings or something, but I haven't looked in my account settings for ages. <-<;
Innula Zenovka
As Berksey says, it's easy enough to tell when someone pays money to an object that belongs to you (which goes straight into your account) but there's no way I know to detect when someone makes a payment direct to your avatar.
Rolig Loon
To get that sort of information, you'd need to have access to the LL accounting system, which is well guarded for some obvious security reasons. You're not going to be able to do it.
Qie Niangao
This wouldn't involve LSL because you couldn't do it in-world, but if you really needed to solve this problem, you could run a script (on your PC or perhaps a cloud service) that logs in to the SL website as the account you're wanting to monitor, and screen-scrapes the HTML sent back from https://accounts.secondlife.com/transaction_history . This would be a hideous kludge, of course, and fragile to changes on the SL website, but I doubt a more elegant way exists.
