waiting for region handshake

On one of my computers only, (Firestorm) my screen gets to waiting for region handshake and I am kicked out.  I have no trouble signing onto SL on web nor on an LAN wired deskstop.  This query is being sent from subject problem deskstop.  Please advise

Waiting for region handshake

The "Waiting for Region Handshake" message occurs when the Second Life Viewer does not receive an acknowledgement from the server.  The usual cause of this error is a firewall blocking UDP packets. Reconfigure your firewall to resolve this problem.

Rolig may be right, firewall can cause that.

Also, your WiFi may be shaky. Try using a cable for the problem computer and see if it makes a difference.
