Slingsam Zanzibar
On one of my computers only, (Firestorm) my screen gets to waiting for region handshake and I am kicked out. I have no trouble signing onto SL on web nor on an LAN wired deskstop. This query is being sent from subject problem deskstop. 0 Rolig Loon
From the Knowledge Base (accessible from the tab at the top of this page): Waiting for region handshake The "Waiting for Region Handshake" message occurs when the Second Life Viewer does not receive an acknowledgement from the server. The usual cause of this error is a firewall blocking UDP packets. Reconfigure your firewall to resolve this problem. For information on how to configure firewalls, see: Using Second Life with a firewall.

Also, your WiFi may be shaky. Try using a cable for the problem computer and see if it makes a difference.
