I messed up my Avi when I clicked replace outfit, is there a way I can go back to the Avi settings ?

If you have an outfit saved you can always repalce with that.

Otherwise, the best way is to go back and put everything back on.  Shape, hair, skin, AO, ....

And then save it as an outfit

I have one outfit that I have labelled "Emergency Me" for situations exactly like that.  It has a skin and hair that are my favorites, all three of my standard utility HUDs, and a nice conservative set of clothes that I won't be embarrased to wear anywhere in SL.  When disaster strikes, I just drag that whole outfit out of inventory and drop it on my av.  I'm cured in an instant and can then take my time changing into the outfit of the day.
