Hi,

My question is I understand for the premium membership you get the option of place to stay thats include at the price of 9.50 per month. I want to know is the Linden Home in the theme community the only ones you cant stay at and still get it at 9.50 price or is there any other options?

no you can also buy 512 sqm of mainland instead of the Linden Home.

When you take a longer subscription... 3 months or more, your monthly costs will go down... have a thought about that

 

additional sqm land will make your tier level go up

Nowadays, there are three options.

1.  A free Linden Home.

2.  Buy up to 512 m2 anywhere on the Mainland (usually from another resident.)  The purchase is a one-time cost, paid in $L.  Mainland prices vary widely, from less than $L 1 per square meter on up, so shop around.  You won't pay tier on it.  If you buy MORE than 512 m2, you still get the tier discount, but you'll pay a monthly charge according to the table here: https://secondlife.com/my/account/landfees.php?lang=en-US.  So, for example, if you bought a 1024 m2 parcel, you would only pay tier on 512 m2, or an additional $5 per month.

3.  Buy a parcel in one of the new Horizons regions.  These are being sold at auction, you can find the listings here: http://usd.auctions.secondlife.com/  This is just like Option 2 above, except you're buying the parcel from LL, through an auction process.  The parcels have some cool features, like a variety of futuristic home styles you can rez there with a control device.  These homes don't count against the land's prim capacity, just like a Linden Home...but unlike Linden Home parcels, you can choose to NOT use one of the styles furnished by LL, and rez your own residence.  As in the above example, you will pay $5 a month on these 1024 m2 parcels.
