No. Not unless they tell you.  This is a VERY good thing.  The last thing we need to do is make it easier for stalkers.

TBH even if there was a way (which there isn`t) no one would post it on a public forum for the very reason Rolig mentioned.

There is no way to stop people knowing you are online & they can IM you to ask you where you are, so it is your choice if you tell them.

If someone doesn`t want you to know, then they have a right to their privacy and there should be no need for anyone to be "tracking" someone else down.
