I was nearly exhausted that Friday, still chin deep in preparations for a bridal shower. I couldn't wait for it to be over, so I could relax. Then I shifted into finishing off my outdoor theater. Opening night is this Friday. I'm done a few days ahead of time and I already miss the panic. So yes, I'd enjoy being right back up to my chin again, if only so I could complain about it. ;-). We see each other almost every week with our husbands but sometimes I need more than a hug. I also made some shrimp and scallop chili rellenos that were wonderfully tastey. It will be even better in less than two weeks, when my boarder flies out of the nest. Although I complain about her, Snugs is pretty good, and quiet, company.
