what does transfer mean in regard to an item of clothing?

you don't need techinical help but a dictionaire

it means just what it says.

copy = you can make several copies

transfer= you can transfer it... give it away

Transfer means you can give it to another person.

Copy means you can make extra copies.

If an item is trasfer but not copy, when you give it away you lose the original one from your inventory.
