How can I get back to the learning island? I can't seem to find Welcome Island Public.

You can't ever get back to Learning Island.  Once you leave, that's a one-way ticket.  You can go to Social Island, though.  There are lots more basic skill tests there.  Fun too.  And you can go back as many times as you like.

When you hit the Home button, you are teleported to the location you've designated as your Home position.  You can do this in any of the following locations:

• Land you own or rent
• Public land owned by Linden Lab
• Land owned by one of your groups, provided your group role has been given the ability to set Home.

If you have not yet set a Home position, you are teleported to a random Infohub.

To set Home, stand at the desired location.  Go to the World menu and choose Set Home to Here.
