I have all my logs and Transcripts saved in my preferences and they are NOT saving....

I have everything checked so all my logs and stuff are saved to my PC, and also so it saves the last bit of convo from that person. Yet when I open an IM with someone who I was JUST talking to, there is nothing there, when I open preferences and open my chat logs from my folder on my PC, it tells me nothing is there, and to make sure it is spelled correctly! HELP!

Those updated logs are saved when you log out.  Open the file directly, in your own computer.  If I'm looking for chat or IM logs, I go to C:/Users/[my RL name]/AppData/Roaming/SecondLife/rolig_loon .  There's a folder there for each person I had IM conversations with, plus a folder named "chat" for my public conversations.

Windows can get rather possessive of what it believes to be its own personal folders.  Are you sure you have access to the folders SL wants to use for saving files? 

 

You might consider creating a LOGS folder in My Documents and setting SL to use that folder instead.
