Hello:  About Singularity viewer, I'm sorry but maybe I had stated the statement wrong.  My question is:  Is it the viewer (Singularity) that I am on is causing the black screen?  Is there another way go get visual back if it is on the Singularity viewer. I had used this viewer for quite some time, but was out for an extended time.  So I had just reinstalled and noticed the black screen just recently.  Thanks again

Hi Renali,

The Singularity viewer is quite old, no longer supported, and no longer compatible with the current SL grid. Switch to the official SL viewer (at the bottom of every SL web page) or pick an alternate from the recognized list of third party viewers...

If you look at the Singularity web site, you'll see that their viewer was last updated in February 2015, over a year ago.  It is listed among the SL Third Party Viewers as "out of date".  You should expect increasingly unusual effects as time goes on.
