0 sven Homewood
Following you need to know about vehicles in general: For driving around: A vehicle made of prims and sculpts can't have more than an LI of 32. A vehicle made in mesh (wich can contain also 'normal' prims) can have about any LI, but you will need a place to be able to rez it. Also, the physical LI of a meshvehicle can't be over 32 LI. Very huge and detailed meshvehicles won't be able to enter sims, where the simwide LI (amount of used prims) is less than the vehicle LI. For a static vehicle to show of or to use as a home, you will need land that can keep the LI of the vehicle. Detailed vehicles made of prims and sculpts with an LI higher than the 32 will be worn as an attachment and you will ride an invisible attachment only. The bigger the LI the worse the simcrossing. Same for scripts. To answer where you can sail, try the Blake Sea, thats water open to the public and many of the private estates around are open to sail too. I have more than 200 vehicles... boats of any kind and others, but i prefer the ones with a lower LI than a super detailed yacht.
