Help me. my Voice is messed up

My sl voice has been working just fine. until i left for a week due to i had went to a friends house with no internet then i come back and people say i sound like a demon and such i had this problem once since i switched to windows 10 and it worked on every other program the using a mic perfectly but not sl but i fixed it ...tried the same thing {going to my recording settings changing the default format to a lower quality} and it worked perfect as before but i try it now and it doesnt work it sounds like i have a voice morpher but i dont well didnt... i got it to see it i could fix it with the morpher.. nothing... can some one help me please... i use firestorm still works on everything else but secondlife please..its not as fun without voice
