i purchased some outfits for a friend and they havent recieved them going on two days now????

Double check the Transaction History on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Account to be sure that you actually paid for the items.  You should also check the Order History in your account on Marketplace.  If everything looks OK -- you paid and things were not delivered -- put all of the information into a politely worded notecard and send it to the merchant, requesting a redelivery.  Be a bit patient, because not all merchants log in to SL every day.

When you check your transaction history, check to see that:

  • You spelled your friend's name right
  • You used their unique username, not their Display Name (other people can have the same Display Name, so it's an easy way to send a gift to the wrong person)
  • You actually bought the item as a gift.  If you didn't, it might've been delivered to YOUR inventory instead.

If you bought the item and it was sent to the wrong person, the only thing you can do is try to contact that person and (if the items are Transferable) politely ask them to send them to the correct person.
