Are new accounts created with the new one-name system able to access the blogs?

I made a new account with the new one-name system, and I can't access the blogs.

Is this happening to no else, some new accounts, or all new accounts?

Looks like a bug to me.  I created a new one name account a couple of hours ago.  I can log into the Dashboard but the login does not work for the blogs!

Let's hope its work in process.

Problem logging into blogs with newly created account

  We are currently investigating an issue with  newly created accounts which does not allow users to log into the blogs  with those accounts.  Blogs are still viewable, but newly created  accounts cannot comment.  We will update this post when we have more  information  available.

We'd rather provide facts than rumors, Sharcel. I've asked some of the Lindens who might know more, since it's been almost a month since that announcement, and I've heard some very anxious messages from new Residents.
