I started this game a week ago,and it was very difficult for me because the games' panel is not easy,

However,I am learning many things slowly slowly. I learned ''to be a DJ,earn linden for Fishing, gold hunt, buying or selling etc''.

I wonder a thing so much.Is this game include ''trade'' ? What kind of trade? For example, can I buy something cheap and sell more than I bought price?

If it is possible,I want to rent a shop and Im going to search cheap goods ?

Sorry for my newbie question and sorry for my basic english.

Thanks,

Reselling at inflated prices is legal (provided it's not done to compete with your own products on Marketplace), provided you comply with the Second Life permissions system - it makes no sense to resell Copy items, and it's impossible to resell No Transfer ones.

However it's typically very obvious when this is done, especially if you're reselling work of more famous creators, or simply reselling freebies. It's easily clear to most experienced shoppers that you would not be the original creator.

Not everyone will be cheerful to hear you've charged extra without adding any value, and can't offer support on the items you've sold.

In Second Life, your reputation is sometimes as important as your L$ balance. ;)

Whatever you do, do not think that it's normal for people to earn all the L$s they spend in-game. There are certainly those who do, but because there are others who earn so much that they can take real money out of the game, we can be sure that there are many, many more who are putting real money into the game.

Those who try to "break even" or make a profit represent a tiny minority of SL players.

Unskilled work is primarily not connected to the trade economy, instead time is traded for L$.

Doing a repetitive task, fulfilling grind requests from scripted games or traffic systems is the primary way to accumulate funds. Considering your experience with the

You shouldn't be afraid to develop a skill - something where you can add value for other users, performing a service or function for them that they are willing to pay for - and isn't routed in faulty market economics. It needn't be something technical such as creation of scripts or clothes - many users get L$ simply for repeating copypaste phrases to a crowd, customer service or advertising.

search the marketplace and inworld for: affiliate vendor

this will allow you to stock your inworld shop with products made by the franchiser. You are the franchisee. You pay the tiers/rent for the shop parcel. You get a sales commission on products sold thru the vendor(s)

make sure that the franchiser has put DEMO copies in the vendor as well. Customers are more likely to buy when they can get a demo prior to purchase. This is particularly true of skin, hair and mesh clothing

If trade insterests you, aside from franchise or affiliate vendors, you could open a Yard Sale place.  Buy used items from residents and resell them in your shop.  Transferable things like furniture and funishings, dance balls, couple dance systems, club equipment etc sell well. Years ago there was a guy that did this and did quite well at it.  People get bored with things and want to replace them but a lot don't want to hassle with selling their own stuff so they'll be glad to sell to you.

When you buy things be sure that you not buying really old stuff with outdated tech, like furniture that has visable pose balls attached to sit on, instead of having the animations inside the furniture itself because you won't sell it unless you sell it incredibly cheap.  I'd also stay away from clothes and accessories unless you really know what you are doing, because they go out of fashion.  A lot of that type of thing is copy only too and won't work for this.

The trick is to get items at a price that allows you to resell them for less than they cost new.  Attempting to sell things at a price over and above what people can get it new for is not viable. Anything you sell, including items you buy at retail to sell,  is considered used and people will expect to pay less.  Most people when looking at used things know very well how much they cost new and as someone said, your reputation as an honest dealer is more important that a few L's.

Of course this means you have to have some start up funds to buy things with and rent for a shop. You'll also need to budget for advertisements to let sellers know you are buying, and to let buyers know about your place.
