Not for old timers like redd. A nine year old premium member would get L$500. Hippie Bowman is nearly eight and collects L$400/wk. More recent premium joiners get the well known L$300.

Yeah. I got Hippie. I didn't recognize Redd.  Still, it's a lot of fuss to worry about $1.40 (or $2.00 for Redd).

I share your wonderment over the concern people show for such small amounts and short delays. My RL boarder is similarly impatient, and I'm seeing just how much that costs him in terms of bad decisions. If people can afford to go premium, can they still be living hand to mouth here? I've (thankfully) never been in that position. Maybe the sympathetic stress I feel when people get their panties in a wad over $1.40 is just pathetic stress, as they're accustomed to living that way.

 

I don't like stress, so I'm gonna stop sympathizing.
