Is there a way disengage an incompatible graphics card?  I have a Nividia GeForce 745m on my ASUS. Is there a "generic default graphics card" on computers?

NVidia cards come with a control panel that you can use to turn the default switchable graphics chip OFF when you are in SL.  The 745m should work well once you activate it.  You should be able to locate the panel from its icon in the lower right corner of your screen.

Hi Robin,

I'm not sure I understand your question. The 745m is compatible with SL. There's no way for us to know whether your PC contains an additional integrated graphics processor, but if it did, that GPU would probably be much slower than the NVIDIA chip. If you're getting some kind of incompatibility message from the SL viewer, go to the NVIDIA website and get the latest drivers for your 745m.
