Really! I'm trying to post an event, something I've done for ages, and suddenly I'm told:

Please correct the following:

  • The event appears to contain adult material, but is on a General or Mature region. Please choose an adult region. Refer to the Maturity ratings wiki page for more details.

The event is a sci fi book chat on "Bookstacks, where book lovers meet".

Flummoxed!

All comments and ideas welcome!

Neither is the standard sizing XXS adult to normal people but to LL it's equivalent to midget porn or something and forces adult on MP.

Maybe "book lovers" is interpreted as those interested in copulating with books in some creative way?

Just admit defeat and change it to "for those who love books"

Ours is not to reason why LL have such strange fetishes, only how to find ways around a very broken system.

What's worse is that you're told it 'appears to contain', yet you're not given what the actual trigger was nor a means to appeal. (>_<)

It's like regulation by Where's Waldo. (=_=)

You can shuffle around with words until it gets through, though.  "book lovers meet" may contain the trigger.  Try "book lovers gather" or get really complicated on them and say "book aficionados meet".  Maybe even "book lovers and aficionados meet" to see if splitting the "lovers meet" would be enough. (^_^)

Every time I read this I laugh aloud again!

PS Maybe change the ad wording to something about meeting up with others who want to copulate with books. That should get around the filter.

This is SL, I'm sure the group for that exists somewhere...

I guess I'm just glad all the books in my SL Home are on the protected side of my security orb... There are some kinds of worms I'd rather not find in the pages...

o.O

That last bit was absolutely beautiful.

"There are some kinds of worms I'd rather not find in the pages..."

PFFFFFT.

Anyway. I feel like the issue is being caused by either the word "lovers" in itself or the combination of "lovers meet". You're definitely going to have to play around with the wording and word order.

Sorry the system is being dumb and causing your book club event to not get set up as smoothly as it should!

Usually this kind of stuff occurs when you have something like:

"cats hitting mice" and the filter sees the last letter of 'cats' and the first 3 letters of 'hitting' and decides you're trying to hack a filter with word gimmicks...

But I don't see that here, unless there were more words in the posting and we can convolute some of them into the right weird combination...
