JolieElle Parfort Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I was bitten by a vampire in 2009 and ignored it and now a sl vampire says he sees record of it and says I should have it removed - is this possible?
0 Madelaine McMasters Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Hi JolieElle, That "vampire" is probably referring to the Bloodlines database. I don't know of any way to rid your name from it, but I believe you can have yourself marked as unbiteable (or whatever term they might use) by wearing the official garlic necklace. Try a search for "bloodlines garlic" in the marketplace. Here's what Bloodlines has to say about garlic. Gooooooooood luck, dahlink! ;-)
0 KarenMichelle Lane Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Once you have purchased the free Garlic Necklace you only need to wear it once and then activate it. This objects script sends a transaction to the Bloodlines Servers that erases your participation in Bloodlines. [Your avatar name actually remains in the BL database marked as a non-participant.] TO OPERATE PROTECTION: Right-click the necklace item in your inventory, and choose "Wear". Once you see the necklace on your body, a blue menu should appear. Choose "Activate" from the options - and you're instantly protected! You don't need to constantly wear the necklace - once you've selected "Activate", you'll be impervious to vampire bite requests. If at any time, you decide that you might want to check out the Bloodlines game, even to play as a human, you can always wear the necklace again and reactivate yourself by choosing "Reactivate" from the menu options.
