I can't seem to send Private Messages on My Second Life... anyone know why?

I can't seem to send any of my friends private messages via mysecondlife.com anymore.  There's no option from their profile page to send a private message anymore.  The only option seems to be an IM via whatever the default viewer is.  Does anyone know what the issue is?

We have noticed several people having that problem since LL preformed maintenance on the web profile servers the other day.  They have been trying to fix the glitch that has been putting photos from some people's feeds onto other people's profile pages, but may have done something to mess with the PMs by mistake.  They are almost certainly aware of the issue by now, but you can help them understand how serious it is by submitting a JIRA report.

You're correct. It seems that Private Messaging has been removed for now.

If it weren't for these posts, I would never know what's going on with the web profiles. I never think to look at mine. It could have been busted for months.

Well, that's mostly because private messaging was removed 2 years ago. See KarenMichelle's note, above yours.
