dalocogamer
First: This is the clostest place I thought this topic would fit. Since it is dealing with SL Server.Second: I have my own site. I am not promoting it. This is a project for myself.Third: I did search around in the wiki and forum and could not find any answers to my question or what I am doing. I am in need of some knowledge on how I can send snapshots to my own web site. I want to achieve the same ideal way of posting a pic to Flickr from SL. I am looking around for open projects and I looked at the wiki for snap shots. I appricate the help if you can just point me to where to look. Cerise Sorbet
Hi, your best bet may be to use the snapshot to email feature. Quite a few web sites already implement image uploads through email attachments, so you won't be starting from scratch. You can simply send an email snapshot to your regular mail account to see how the messages are formatted.
dalocogamer
To be clear, I want to take a picture in SL and have the option to load to my site directly. I did not feel the snapshot to email section would help me. I will now look into it and see if there is a way for me to complete my goal. I have seen the various sites like flickr that lets us do this. We will see what happens.
Buttacwup Float
Getting tools that let you parse email messages are not hard. Another option is to use the save to disk option and ftp software that will automatically upload the pictures in a local folder to your website.
