DavidMist
is there a way to get more prims on the land you already own?
Marigold Devin
Welcome to Second Life Answers, David If you own land on one of the Linden Home sims, then I am afraid you are limited to 117 prims. If you own land on the mainland, it is possible to increase the number of prims that you own by purchasing more land. You will be subject to tier fees though. Also, if you make the land group land, you acquire 10% more prims for no extra charge, but this is complicated. You can read up on all of these options in this handy Knowledge Base reference. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Buying-land/ta-p/700043
jwenting
you do NOT get 10% more prims. You get the option to buy 10% more land at no charge, but the prim budget of that land (counted in prims per square meter) remains the same.
Amethyst Jetaime
The only way of getting more prims on land that is actually in your name as the owner is to buy more land on the same sim. Then the prims from both parcels can be shared between the two as you please. The parcels don't have to be next to each other just in the same sim. If you rent, and the land is not in your name but is owned by the landlords group, sometimes a landlord will have a pool of extra prims not allocated ot the rentals on a sim and if you ask they will rent you extra prims without increasing your lot size. Your rent will however increase. Generally they will rent you prims in specific amounts for a set price, such as 50 prims for 100L extra a week. Christin73
With the right furniture or house, its amazing what you can do with only a few prims. Lean by expirimenting with things to find out how to use less prims.

I find a smaller hour or a house made to be real life sized greatly helps with this as you need less furnature to fill it those less prims.
