MollyGoldstein
I have a free Linden Hoverboard 2009I changed all the llStartAnimations and llStopAnimations to the name of the animation I want to use where I would only stay seated using that one animation that I put in the contents. It works fine at first but as soon as I go forward my avatar sits way up off the seat. Then when I stop moving forward my avatar sits back down. So I need help figuring out why my avatar keeps sitting up and doesn't stay seated like I want. You can IM me in world. Thank you
MollyGoldstein
Still no help yet. I will pay if that's why this message is being skipped over

Madelaine McMasters
Molly, are you wearing an AO? If so, it may have a higher priority than the animation in your scripted object. Try turning it off.
MollyGoldstein
My AO is off Still no help yet. lol If anyone wants to look at the script maybe that would help me. I was told to change all the animation names then put the animation in the contents. There is something else that needs to be changed that is causing me sit up. Dora Gustafson
The readers in this forum might want to know what the problem was and how it was fixed The forum is used to interchange information like that :smileysurprised::smileyvery-happy:
Qie Niangao
I too would like to know the problem that led to this report. That said, this thread must have a more complex history than meets the eye. Before your post, Dora, the most recent was five days ago, and AFAIK it just suddenly appeared in this forum, fully formed, so I'm guessing it originated elsewhere. (Perhaps Answers? Somewhere with a much faster pace of impatience, anyway.)
Rolig Loon
It wasn't in Answers. The OP has evidently misunderstood the purpose of this forum.
MollyGoldstein
the solution was to put slash marks //llStopAnimation("drive"); With out the slash marks I would always stop the animation that caused me to sit up in my seat. So I went through and put slash marks on all the llStopAnimation("drive"); so I would always stay seated.
Rolig Loon
Ah ..... Just so you know, those "slash marks" simply converted each line into a comment. They have exactly the same effect as erasing the line, which might have been easier. :smileywink:
